this video made me miss egypt more than anything i have recently viewed.
after the revolution, just like the video echoed, i felt like egypt was mine, it was my country, full of my people, talking my language, doing my work. not in the sense of ownership, but in the sense of oneness, all of us wanting the same thing. the revolution wasn’t just a political movement. it was a social, cultural, psychological revolution. it was a revolutionary revolution.
